Notice of a WYB event so we can book tables for Lunch.
Sunday 19th of April
West riding classic cars have invited us to attend their showroom at Sowerby bridge, Halifax for a look around at the Morris minors and see how they restore them at their garage, we’ll have a drink and biscuits and then go for a drive out (organised by WRCC) the route will go from WRCC and head to Hebden Bridge, through Haworth towards Trawden. Then back over the top to Heptonstall calling at Gordon Rigg Garden centre for lunch, (It has a museum) then we’ll drive back towards Sowerby bridge and make our way back home.
Details are as follows, we’ll leave Queens drive, Ossett at 930am with a steady drive to West riding classic cars arriving there around 1030am for refreshments and then off we go for a lovely drive out across the Yorkshire moors stopping at Gordon Riggs garden centre around 12.15pm to 12.30pm for lunch and a look around the museum and then drive back. I need to know final numbers by Thursday the 16th of April so we can let WRCC and Gordon Rigg know. I do hope we can get plenty of support for this event. If people want to meet us at the garden centre in a modern car that’s fine. Please look at the menus for lunch.
